True Relater Overview

True Relaters (R/R) are Introverted, Feeling, Sensing types. Introverted feeling types are concerned with the values of the inner person, with things that are felt but not easily expressed. While they have a keen ability to anticipate the needs of others, it is often difficult for them to express their own needs. R/Rs can make great contributions if they can learn to communicate their thoughts, feelings and perceptions, which often have great depth and go way beyond the obvious. R/Rs take the details they notice and internalize them, often seeing more in an object than it may actually contain in and of itself. Because introverted-feeling-sensing types keep their thoughts and feelings to themselves, they are often hard to know fully or to understand. They often adopt an air of indifference as a defense mechanism, making them appear distant or inaccessible. R/Rs have a demeanor that is reserved and gentle. R/Rs function best in environments that are predictable, even-paced, and which feel safe and secure.
