INTROVERTED INTUITION

Introverted intuitives are driven by their inner visions of possibilities and are determined to the point of stubbornness. They seek inspiration and abhor routine. They are very insightful, but may refrain from sharing their insight with others. Introverted intuitives are stimulated by difficulties and seek to find innovative solutions for them. However, they are more interested in the "why's" than the "what's", and may lose sight of the objective. Introverted intuition goes beyond the facts and moves to causes. They look for meaning in everything. They probe into the very depths of the human psyche, looking into the pleasures, pains, pressures, drives and ambitions that motivate people and they can spend a great deal of time pondering the likely outcomes of such things. Introverted intuitives are acutely aware of all the inner processes of consciousness. They are intensely spontaneous within, but have trouble expressing outwardly, so they are subject to frequent moodiness. Introverted intuitives feel bound to transform their visions into their own lives, but often feel like “the voice of one crying in the wilderness”. Dominant introverted intuition is only seen in R/C and O/E (both are oppositions). The demeanor of this individual depends highly on their perception of their surroundings.

Supported by thinking (itFS; O/E), they are driven to "find a better way" and can reorganize the same thing over and over in a effort to get it right. They are highly independent and innovative, but can get bogged down in possibilities and neglect to actually do anything. They can get things done, but will tend to put them off unless they find them challenging.

Supported by feeling (ifTS; R/C), they are naturally concerned about people and their problems. They will seek solutions for others, but may neglect finding solutions for themselves. They will work for harmony and will find innovative solutions in an effort to "keep the peace". They may feel challenged by a desire to explore the future while still focused in the present.
