When Part 1 and Part 2 Do Not Match The discovery process on this page is easiest to follow with a copy of your Client Profile Sheet which overviews the results of your profile. If you do not have access to your reports, ask your CORE Facilitator for assistance. Incongruent profiles are either a result of 1) early or prolonged conditioning that has altered your self-perception or 2) a need to adjust your life according to current circumstances, causing you to adopt an unconscious preference into conscious mode. Looking at temperaments and preferences in conjunction with one another can tell you how well you know and understand yourself, and whether you are functioning in the manner best suited to your nature. If Part 1 and Part 2 dont match, determining where they dont match will give you some very valuable insights. Your CORE Facilitator will help you determine which profile is correct and which one is conditioned. To assist you in the discovery process:
Comparing the Preference Codes for Parts 1 and 2 STEP
1: Compare
Extroversion to Introversion.
If the first two letters of the Preference Code are capital letters, it
indicates that you lead with Extroversion. If the first two letters are
lower case, it indicates that you lead with Introversion. If Parts 1 and
2 match (both indicate Extroversion or both indicate Introversion), continue
with step 2. If they do not match (one says Extroversion and the other
says Introversion), click on the link below that accurately describes
your profile:
Part 1 indicated that you were an Extrovert (you lead with either Commander or Entertainer), but Part 2 indicated that you are an Introvert (N was higher than X) Part 1 indicated that you were an Introvert (you lead with either Organizer or Relater), but Part 2 indicated that you are an Extrovert (X was higher than N) STEP 2: Compare Sensing to Intuition. The first two letters in the Preference Code are the functions that you really on most often (this is the preferred set of functions). You will see either an S or I in the preferred set (not both). If Parts 1 and 2 match (both indicate S or both indicate I), continue with step 3.
